There are cities where the cultural scene is blossoming so much that the energy is palpable. In most of these places, the energy also translates into a very heavy competition among the artists who live there, and the ones who come to town to do projects. There is some of that in Seattle, but it’s more characterized by a kind of openness, and civic-mindedness, and this doesn’t really exist in other places.
It’s an unusual city, to be sure. It attracts people from all walks of life, whether they’re slumming in town and couch-surfing, or staying at the five star hotels Seattle offers. These lives do intersect, and sometimes in very profound and meaningful ways. In places like Theatre Schmeater , where the level of artistic excellence is matched by its commitment to community involvement, it’s not unusual to find very diverse audiences.
Likewise, in productions like their recent Pageant Play , seasoned actors work with new and upcoming talents, and the different walks of life are washed out in the name of a unified production. It’s something that makes the city particularly distinctive, and also immensely interesting. This isn’t to say that there are no barriers between people, but there is a sense that some of them are being crossed with intelligence and compassion.

Boston is a city of dreams and nightmares. For some people this urban jungle is a maze of buildings and unknown structures, for others this place is a paradise full of new places to explore. Aimed at those who want to explore and good for those who dread the big city, there are a few tours of the city that will make this place no longer feel like such a strange place and will make everything a little more comfortable.
Urban adventures is one of these tours. Unlike many of the other tours this one lets you get up close to many of the sites, because you are on bicycles. It also makes it easier to pause for a little bit and take in the sites. Like many other tours you can take a couple of day tours, or see the lights of the city as you bike around. The nice thing about taking a tour though is that it gives you an idea of where you might want to visit and with a bike tour you know for certain that you can bike there and back without too much hassle.
Finding an alternative tour like this isn’t all that hard. If Urban Adventures is too far away from the luxury hotels boston has many other alternative tours all over town. Or you could just rent a bike from a nearby bike shop .

For some, direct selling conjures up unpleasant images of obnoxious salesmen that don’t know how to take no for an answer. While most of us can relate to similar experiences, there are many benefits to buying direct.
First, buying direct gives you one-on-one time with the salesmen. In most retail stores the sales staff is usually preoccupied with at least one other customer, not to mention the phone and other distractions. Rarely will you receive their undivided attention. Direct selling is quite the opposite. There are no other customers around and you are free to ask as many questions and get as much information on the product as you want. Not to mention that most of the time they come to you, you don’t have to go to them.
Secondly, direct sellers, like Southwestern Company, products typically have guarantees and warranties that traditional stores don’t offer. Because they deal with a specific line of product they want to ensure the customer is pleased with what they are getting.
With technology in a constant state of change and progress, direct selling has changed with it. Many companies offer websites and a wide variety of direct selling resources online to help potential customers as well as contractors get involved in the direct sales industry.

Los Angeles is a major tourist destination . People for decades have been traveling to it to see the sites many of which have been attracting tourists for decades if not the better part of a century. These days there’s pretty much a set list of the sites you “have” to see if you plan to visit the ‘City of Angels’ for the first time.
The top things you are expected to see on a trip to L.A. is rather long but number one since it became open to the public has been Disneyland. This theme park and studio has been a long standing attraction for Southern California and is billed as “The happiest place on earth” . Other places to visit include Universal Studios, Venice Beach, Rodeo Drive, and Sunset Blvd. One of the longest lasting images of Hollywood though has always been Hollywood Boulevard and thanks to recent urban renewal projects it has begun to reclaim the crowd drawing presence of its heyday. There is much more to Los Angeles than just those attractions though so don’t feel the need to limit yourself.
When planing your stay in L.A. feel free to custom tailor your stay to fit your needs. There are even options if you plan to vacation on a budget. You can, provided you reserve in advance, be part of a studio audience for some sitcoms and a multitude of game shows filmed around the city for cheap if not free. If you plan to be in town during it you may want to see the Rose Parade though if you want the best sidewalk seats you need to be prepared to camp on the sidewalk for it. There are limitless free attractions and all within easy reach of five star hotels. Los Angeles beaches are also free. Not one for fun in the sun but still wanting to enjoy yourself without spending a fortune? The California Science Center is always free and several other museums offer special free pass days. If you would like to experience some live music during your stay there are free concerts from April to November in the Los Angeles Times Central Court at the Los Angeles County Art Museum.
